Education Concert: A Paintbrush for Piccolo

Remember when anything was possible? This uplifting musical story, written by Anne Gatha with music composed by Calgary Phil violist Arthur Bachmann, tells the tale of Piccolo, a child living in the Renaissance who sets out to become a famous artist. Along the way he finds help and inspiration from a loyal dog named Bella and the great Michelangelo himself. These light-hearted one-hour school-day programs are designed to educate and inspire students. Concerts are shaped with themes presented in the classroom, and an accompanying guide is provided to all registered schools. We welcome educators and students from public, separate, private, charter, and home schools. A limited number of subsidies are available. These subsidies are made possible thanks to the generous support of our donors.
