Local musicians return to CNP Public Art Gallery to celebrate Mother's Day with a concert of Romantically inspired classical repertoire. Shelly Groves holds her BMus Performance, having studied with Bill van der Sloot (Mount Royal) as well as with Lorand Fenyves and Phoebe Tsang (Glenn Gould School). Christine Bootland has been on the faculty at Medicine Hat College as cello instructor, ensemble coach. Lauri Fumagalli studied piano at UofA, now a retired Attorney, teaches piano and music theory. Concert - 2 pm. Doors open - 1:30 pm Shelly Groves - violin Laurie Fumagalli - piano guest - Christine Bootland - cello Tickets are $25 each, and seating is limited. Last year this was a sold-out event. Get your tickets early.
