Dummy Downhill

Don’t miss PPK’s annual Dummy Downhill! Bring your cardboard dummy to the lodge starting at 11 a.m. so folks can admire your creative handiwork. At 12 p.m., the judges will evaluate all the dummies to determine the winner in the Best Design category. After the judging, everything will be moved to Daredevil’s Dip for the downhill portion of the event. The start time for dummies going off the jump at Daredevil’s Dip is 1 p.m. Here are some important rules to remember: First, this is a family-friendly event, so all dummies must be suitable for all ages to see. Any inappropriate designs will not be permitted. Second, safety is a top priority, so no pyrotechnics, fire, or dangerous items can be incorporated with your dummy. Third, the event is free to enter! Registration will open on March 8 at Guest Services and will close at 12 p.m. on the day of the event. Entries arriving after this time will not be able to participate. Finally, prizes will be awarded after the event concludes.
