Diyet & The Love Soldiers

Diyet & The Love Soldiers, in Camrose’s Jeanne & Peter Lougheed Performing Arts Centre, offers an intimate night of northern alternative-folk storytelling. Led by Diyet, born in a tent and raised on the ancestral lands of the Kluane First Nation, this multi-instrumental trio blends the raw spirit of the Yukon with soulful roots and global folk influences. Songs move between English and Southern Tutchone, sharing an Indigenous worldview that spans fishing on the ice one day and performing on international stages the next. With multiple nominations for Indigenous Artist of the Year and Folk Album of the Year, the group brings catchy melodies, rich harmonies, and engaging stage presence that have resonated from CBC national broadcasts to major European festivals, giving audiences in Central Prairies a rare, culture-deep live music experience.
