Crowning of the Tree at The Malcolm Hotel

Join us at The Malcolm Hotel as we kick off the Canmore holiday season with a Tree Lighting Ceremony of royal prestige, proudly serving as the official launch event for the Rotary Festival of Trees. The evening begins with a Royal Traditional Tattoo March led by the Canmore Highland Games Committee, setting the stage for a festive celebration in the Grand Lobby. Enjoy the sounds of the season with a special performance by the Valley Winds Chorus before Owner Frank Kernick crowns the Grand Lobby tree in royal fashion. Make it a full evening by reserving dinner at Stirling Grill & Lounge and enjoy the Crowning of the Tree Royal Buffet. Due to growing popularity, this year’s event will require free ticketed entry.
