Carstairs Beef & Barley Days Festival

The Beef and Barley Days Festival returns to Carstairs, Alberta—just 25 minutes north of Airdrie—for its 39th annual celebration. This beloved small-town event brings together local organizations, businesses, and volunteers for a weekend full of community spirit and entertainment. Highlights include a vibrant & full parade, pancake breakfast, junior rodeo, slo-pitch softball tournaments, and a fun kids zone and games. Enjoy live music, indoor & outdoor markets, beer tasting event, delicious food like brisket-on-a-bun, concessions, and food trucks. The festivities also feature a classic car show, dazzling fireworks, art gallery displays, and an in-line skate party with skates provided.
