On his 2022 single “Easier to Shout”, rapper Alick Mac offered a self-reflective yet holistic critique of modern masculinity, blending personal experience with social commentary. In a show that placed second as the 2025 Nanaimo "Pick of the Fringe", Alick mixes personal anecdotes and original songs to offer reflections on misogyny, mental health and masculinity.
