Banff Centre Presents: Hamlet | Teatro La Plaza

Sold out from Edinburgh to the Barbican, touring from Boston and now to Banff, Teatro La Plaza's humorous, superbly fresh Hamlet is set to make a unique, playful night of theatre. Banff Centre Presents Hamlet, written and directed by Chela De Ferrari. De Ferarri on the production: "The play shifts from comedy to tragedy and back without the slightest condescension, freed from any tearful, pathetic, or romantic perspective.” This bold and joyful reimagining of Shakespeare’s production irresistibly pulls people into its orbit. Performed by eight actors with Down syndrome, the experience is funny, moving, and infectiously engaging. Jenny Belzberg Theatre Tier A$75.00 | Tier B$55.00 | Tier C$45.00
