Art Quilt Show in Canmore

Come visit the Rocky Mountains and their beautiful Art Quilt Show in Canmore, Alberta at Elevation Place. This free annual event is organized by the quilters of the Mountain Cabin Quilters Guild. There are approximately 30 wall art quilts on display as well as hand-crafted postcards for sale, non-show art quilts for sale and examples of community projects. Elevation Place also has a coffee shop, climbing wall, and swimming pool. Fun for the whole family! The opening reception is March 6 at 7 pm at the Canmore Art Gallery at Elevation Place. The show runs daily from March 7 to March 29 from 11 am to 5 pm. While you’re in town you can shop at the unique quilting store as well as many other interesting shops.
