Alberta Biodiversity Festival

Alberta Biodiversity Festival in Calgary offers family-friendly activities that help visitors learn how to protect Alberta's ecosystems. From grasslands to boreal forest, the festival explores the province's fish, water, wildlife and varied natural landscapes. Visitors gain practical knowledge, useful tools and inspiration to take action for the ecosystems around them. The annual celebration is a collaboration between the Wilder Institute's Calgary Zoo and the Government of Alberta, including Bow Habitat Station in Inglewood. Activities take place at the zoo from September 11–13, followed by a finale with community partners at Bow Habitat Station on September 19.
