Get ready for A Very Full Circle Holiday Show, a festive double feature that transforms a late December timeslot into Calgary’s newest holiday tradition. Blending romance, chaos, and classic Riverona hijinks, this grown-up evening features two original works created by Calgary artists: Riverona Actually and Holding. Riverona Actually is a time-agnostic “lost” holiday episode from the hit Riverona universe, bringing back almost the entire original cast—plus one brand-new character—for a joyful spin on your favourite TV holiday specials (just with more swords and worse decisions). Paired with this is Holding, a brand-new romantic comedy by Megan Baldrey, inspired by her real experiences as a film extra. Set in the chaos of extras holding during a Hallmark-style Christmas shoot, it follows a black-cat/golden-retriever duo thrown together by fate, ginger cookies, and off-season holiday cheer.
