A Taste of d'Carlo & The Hunter's Supermoon

Join them for an evening of delicious food and a fascinating presentation all about the Supermoon at Eagle Butte Observatory. The tour begins at d'Carlo Pasta House, where guests are welcomed with a d'Carlo signature Italian soda and a three-course meal. From d'Carlo, guests will board the Sunshine Trolley and head to the Eagle Butte Observatory to view the Hunter's Supermoon. A Supermoon is when the moon is full and closer to the Earth, appearing 30% larger. Looking through the telescopes at the observatory, guests will be able to see details of the moon that they wouldn’t normally see outside of a Supermoon. Amateur astronomer Rod DeVries will share his knowledge throughout the night. Conversation and questions are welcome.
