37th Annual Chestermere Country Fair

37th Annual Chestermere Country Fair in Chestermere’s lakeside community offers rodeo action, family fun and local flavour in one lively weekend. Travellers can enjoy junior bull riding, mutton bustin', Ladies Ranch Bronc riding and a Charity Bull Riding event where local riders support favourite charities. Kids stay busy with games, activities, Create Kids Fest, a ninja obstacle course, Butterfield Acres petting zoo, Junior's Firefighter's Challenge and sheep herding demos. Tickets are required for the rodeo. Beyond the arena, the Harvest Market showcases handmade goods, fresh produce and unique local finds, while the community parade fills the streets with floats, marching groups and country spirit. Visitors can enter the free Red Ribbon Competition to share hobbies from baking and preserves to quilting and photography, then stop by the Whitecappers Country Kitchen for pie and ice cream or cheer on the quirky zucchini car races with classes for kids, adults and seniors.
