Tangent Park campground is surrounded by nature and just off the Shaftsbury ferry. It has a total of 55 campsites as well as 3 group areas. They also have a day-use area if you just want to spend the day. There is a group area located down by the river which has no services, the enclosed gazebo group area includes a stage as well as a dance floor. There is a horse area and you are more than welcome to bring your horses and ride them on the numerous trails. The park has a kitchen for your group's needs, an onsite laundry room, running showers, flushable toilets, as well as numerous outhouses throughout the park. There are many activities to do, It has a playground for the kids, a horseshoe pit, a volleyball net, mini-golf, a baseball diamond, and many walking trails. There is a canteen which sells ice cream and drinks for those hot days or just a treat.
