St. Albert Grain Elevator Park

St. Albert Grain Elevator Park in St. Albert’s Historic River Lots offers guided heritage tours that bring Alberta’s grain and rail history to life. Interpreters lead visitors through two provincially designated wooden grain elevators, the 1906 Brackman Ker Elevator and the 1929 Alberta Wheat Pool Elevator, sharing stories of prairie farming and the people who worked here. Climb the stairs, see original machinery up close and imagine the bustle of grain shipments that once defined this community. Round out the visit at the 1920s replica train station, where guests can try sending messages in Morse code and peek into the station agent’s living quarters for a glimpse of small-town railway life.
