On a farm southwest of Edmonton in 1947, a huge oil discovery at Leduc #1 Canadian Energy Museum forever changed Canada’s energy future. This National Historic Site tells the story of Alberta’s energy beginnings and provides an in-depth look into the resources and industries which built the province. Canadian Energy Museum is composed of a museum filled with educational displays and artifacts, and an outdoor space complete with all types of oilfield and heavy industry equipment. Come visit the accredited museum and visitor information centre, the gift shop, or the RV campground today. Great for the whole family!
