On the City of Cold Lake's north end, you will find the best place to spread your beach towel for the summer. Kinosoo Beach, a three-block stretch of fine sand, was named one of Canada's top 25 beaches by Canadian Geographic Magazine. A splash park, beach volleyball courts, children’s playground, concession stand, and the occasional live performances help break up the long summer days. A swimming area is roped off for safety.
