The Empress Theatre is considered the entertainment hub for Fort Macleod, and the surrounding southwestern Alberta communities. The theatre was built in 1912 and beautifully restored in the 1980s. It hosts live concerts, festivals, nightly movies, live theatre and more year-round! The Empress maintains all of the history and nostalgia from its earliest years.
