Max Bell Centre, with its large spectator viewing areas, is an ideal venue for large hockey games and other sporting events, as well as trade shows, meetings and more. Conveniently located off Deerfoot Trail in central south east Calgary, Max Bell Arenas are available for bookings from 6:00 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week during prime hockey season (October through March). Requests outside of these hours will be considered.
Centennial Park is home to many of Raymond's outdoor recreational facilities. Come and enjoy the experience at our feature facilities, such as an aquatic centre, basketball, beach volleyball, tennis courts and indoor ice arena. This complex is centrally located adjacent to the business district and has paved parking for over 250 vehicles.
The Multi-Rec Centre includes 2 regulation-sized ice surfaces, field house, indoor running track, indoor children’s play area and a concession. Check website for public skating times and events. Built in the 1970’s, it is the home to the Wolves Junior Hockey Club, Winterhawks, Senior Men’s hockey, Lakeside Figure Skating Club, Men’s Rec Hockey, Rusty Nuts Old-timers and Slave Lake Minor Hockey. The arena is available for ice bookings from September to April and for the cement surface from April to September. Rates vary depending on the event and the user group. The Field house is available for booking year round.

The annual Northern Spirit light show is set for Nov. 24 to Dec. 31 at Evergreen Park, just outside of Grande Prairie. This is a light show that is added to each year. Spectacular light displays that you can drive through or ride through on the wagons pulled by mighty Draft horses. Warm up by the fire, have hot chocolate and fresh baked cookies, or put your skates on and shred the ice on the outdoor rink.
A weekend of family fun activities on Family Day weekend. The community of Wabamun hosts a variety of fun with both indoor/outdoor activities. At Kids Can Catch, you can try your hand at ice fishing, picking up tips from experience anglers, and learn about conservation and responsible angling. This event is free, all registrants are equipped with the required fishing gear.
