Run Calgary and The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra are collaborating by colliding the wonderful worlds of music and run. Lace up in support of the CPO in a new fun event to Calgary, as seen in cities around the world. Challenge yourself to finish a 8K race, in a 4k looped course along the beautiful Bow River, before the CPO completes 50 minutes of Beethoven's best music. Participants receive a custom Beat Beethoven wine glass, wine stopper finishers' medal and a complimentary sparkling wine under the big white tent while enjoying a free concert by CPO highlighting their upcoming season. Friends and family can enjoy the free outdoor concert and donations are strongly encouraged as Beat Beethoven is a fundraising event for CPO. You must be 18 to participate in this event.
This summer (June to September), join Uplift Adventures on a scheduled guided hike in the Castle Provincial Park and around Crowsnest Pass. A minimum of 4 people must be signed up for this adventure into the wilderness. If you want something a little bit more off-the-beaten-path, don't hesitate to ask. Intro to SUP Banff, AlbertaThis course gives you the basic skills to succeed and advance in the future. The Intro course is fun with an emphasis on getting on the board confidently and safely. A lesson is a great way to start if you have never SUP'd before. Intermediates will also love the course as they will get to try a variety of boards and hone in on their paddle skills. No previous experience required. Great for families, groups or individuals. No age restrictions. Our Paddle Canada certified instructors will have you feeling confident and knowledegeable before heading on the water.
