Established in 1981, the museum features displays about the town’s rich history which includes coal mining, tornados and local businesses. There is also an extensive archive that can be used for family research.This mostly volunteer run museum is an excellent example of how a community can come together with a single goal of preserving the past. It started as small museum that was only open a few hours every year. Now it’s doubled in size and is open from May to September, Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Indian Hill is a fun, tree-lined 9-hole golf course hiding East and South of Coaldale, Alberta. Operated by a non-profit society for more than 30 years, the clubhouse features a full service dining room and excellent pro shop.
