Located in the rolling foothills of southern Alberta, the Remington Carriage Museum in Cardston provides visitors with an authentic experience with 19th and early 20th century horse-drawn transportation. The Museum houses the largest collection of horse drawn vehicles in North America with over 270 carriages, buggies, wagons and sleighs.
The Taber Irrigation Impact Museum focuses on the impact of irrigation on Taber’s development. It showcases the irrigation systems and processes from early labour-intensive methods to the current computer technologies that growers use. Through the efforts of pioneer settlers and workers such as the Okamotos, and the constant modernization of irrigation systems, Taber continues to have a thriving agricultural industry with abundant production of crops such as sugar beets, pulses, beans, and the famous Taber corn.
Located just 3 km north of Raymond sits a world class motocross and dirt bike facility, Temple Hill Motorcycle Park. The park is host to many events throughout the year including the Western Canadian Amateur Championships. The park caters to competitive and recreational pursuits by offering, race track, a quad park, freestyle ramp and a BMX track.
