The Rimbey Visitor Information Centre is housed in the Smithson International Truck Museum at the PasKaPoo Historical Park. Located two blocks west off the Highway, entering Rimbey’s from the north. Open year round seven days a week in the summer and Monday through Saturday in the winter (closed Sundays). Features include a large parking area, grass rest and picnic area, playground, 10 acre museum, handicap accessible washrooms, WiFi and friendly staff and volunteers who are ready and willing to help with any of our visitors needs.
Fort Ostell was opened in 1976 and was dedicated to the pioneers of the Ponoka area. In 2004, as part of the Town's 100th Anniversary, the Museum received the Alberta Collection of artifacts entitled the Care and Treatment of the Mentally Ill in Alberta.

All of our campsites now have water and electricity. A dump station is located at the Village Office on Main Street. Firewood is available for purchase in the campground or campers may bring their own firewood provided it is no more than 18 inches in length. We have coin operated showers ($2.00). There is no fee for day use of the public areas of the campground, including the playground area, picnic tables on the lawn, and the walking trail. A fee of $25 is charged for use of the picnic shelter.

Rocky Mountain House Pro Rodeo is an annual event with Rodeo action from Friday to Sunday. Nightly chariot and pony chuck wagons happen nightly through the entire event. Rodeo Parade is on June 10th at 11:00 a.m.
December 3, 2017 – Annual Cookie Walk, Tea & Christmas White Elephant Sale (1:00 pm to 4:30 pm) Within our beautiful seasonally decorated Tea Room or King George Room, enjoy one of our major fundraisers for the year. Our volunteers bake batches of cookies (including gluten free) and other items including homemade carrot pudding and loaves. The day of the Cookie Walk purchase cookies from a wide variety to take home. No need to Christmas bake. Following your Cookie Walk, enjoy tea with seasonal homemade desserts.
