Overview

This museum was the original RCMP detachment showing RCMP history and regalia from Members in area dating from 1929. There is WWI veteran artifacts and historic pictures, early hospital equipment from the 30’s and 40’s on display, photos of all members of Alberta’s first Legislative Assembly in 1905. Also there are handicrafts, native bead work, photo albums and scrapbooks completed by early residents of the area, a variety of sewing machines, musical instruments, spinning wheels, cameras and an impressive collection of vintage clothing. Open weekly May to September, from Tuesday to Saturday 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
