Battle River Pioneer Museum
Open from May 15th to September 15th running Monday-Sunday (May/June/September) from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Monday-Sunday (July/August) from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Museum site includes a large main building, log cabin, post office, Anglican Church, machine sheds, blacksmith shop, and windmill. The collection features a full-mount albino moose, timber wolf, and cougar; albino deer head, grizzly bear, albino porcupine, buffalo calf, two-headed calf, other wildlife, and birds. Unique are a Windigo moose skull (diseased horns), part of a very old elk antler, a three-strand wooden necklace hand carved by jackknife from a one inch board.
