The Canadian Birkebeiner, Canada’s largest classic cross-country ski event, takes place the second Saturday of every February. Grab a thermos of hot cocoa and come cheer on more than 2,000 cross-country skiers as they whip around the loppet at speeds over 20 km per hour (12.4 mi per hour).
