Planted at the crossroads of roots and soul, Canadian musician Charlie A’Court’s mighty voice, fierce guitar work, and contemporary songwriting have earned him an international following and a host of awards and accolades. The most recent of Charlie’s five solo albums, Come On Over, won for 2015 Blues Recording of the Year at both the East Coast Music Awards and Music Nova Scotia Awards. Born with the gift of voice, Charlie grew up in rural Nova Scotia where he spent his youth learning to play guitar and immersing himself in his father’s vinyl record collection, discovering singers like Otis Redding and Sam Cooke. Over the years, his musical influences have grown to include Eric Clapton and contemporary artists Jonny Lang, Colin James, John Mayer, and Joe Bonamassa.
