Food & Dining Food, Shopping & Relaxation

We’re famous for our beef. Close your eyes and savour the flavour explosion of a juicy Alberta steak, grilled to perfection and so tender you can cut it with a fork. Pair it with a robust red wine recommended by your sommelier. Mouth-watering dining experiences abound in Alberta, from eclectic cafés to down home diners that remind you of good home cooking. Top chefs create menus that focus on bringing local produce from farm to fork. Dine on wild game, bison, ostrich or elk in a chic contemporary bistro or in the understated elegance of a mountain lodge.

Jasper Brewing Company

Jasper, Alberta
TripAdvisor Traveller Rating:

Reviews

Come visit Jasper National Park’s brewery and select from our six signature beers brewed on-site. We use only the best premium hops and malts combined with our own cultured yeast strains. Our final ingredient is the pure, natural mountain water sourced from the great Canadian Rockies. Unlike most commercial breweries, the only way we alter our water is to remove the chlorine that’s added to it. Visit us in our pub and enjoy your favorite sports action on one of our seven plasma TVs, or relax and dine with your family in our restaurant.

The Hat

Edmonton, Alberta
TripAdvisor Traveller Rating:

Reviews

It’s the perfect night out. Taste incredible burgers, choose from an impressive wine list, and hear some of the best DJs. The staff are so friendly that you will want to come back again the next day. Likely the first thing you notice when you walk into The Hat is that they have the longest bar in the city. Come during happy hour and see why it’s a favourite after-work spot for the locals.
