Located in the beautiful Historic Cochrane Ranch Site, the Cochrane Farmers' Market is home to over 50 farmers, growers, food artisans, makers and artists that provide customers with the very best of local, farm fresh and hand-made. The weekly Saturday morning market is a lively community event complete with free yoga and a market chef. It’s an experience that has customers returning week after week. The Millarville Farmer's Market is an outdoor event held at the Millarville Racetrack grounds every Saturday from mid-June to mid-October. You'll find more than 140 vendors selling local produce, farm-fresh meats, eggs and dairy, artisan breads and baked goods, speciality food and handmade crafts and giftware. Come on down and meet local farmers, growers, producers and artists, listen to live entertainment and sample some of Alberta's best. The Millarville Racetrack hosts a series of events throughout the year, including a rodeo, Christmas Market and half marathon.
Salisbury Farmers' Market is an Alberta approved farmers' market, which supports vendors who make it, bake it, or grow it. We are a year-round market, located outdoors in the parking lot of Salisbury Greenhouse from the third week of April to mid-October, and inside Salisbury Greenhouse for the remainder of the year. The lush scenery of the Greenhouse surrounds the market during our indoor season, providing customers with the feel of a tropical vacation in the middle of the week. Power tools and pumpkin carving are a great combination for fun. The Jungle Farm will supply the tools, pumpkins and patterns…you supply the creative fare and manpower! Take home your Jack o’Lantern and leave the mess for us to clean up. While you are out at the farm, make sure to leave enough time to enjoy the last weekend for their corn maze, farm animals, wagon rides, pedal carts, strawberry mountain, spook walk, straw play area, pumpkin cannon shows and lots more.
Join The Jungle Farm at the Innisfail Growers booth for a hands on workshop to learn how to make your own jam. They start with The Jungle Farm fresh strawberries. Then they do their magic and turn the strawberries into jam. You will take home the recipe and knowledge of how to make tasty jam at home. You will also have a jar of jam to take home and share with your family
Head out to The Jungle Farm for the opening of the 8 acre corn maze, 'Back Forty' play area and family memory making. Make sure to bring your camera so you can capture all the fun on the 60 ft strawberry mountain slides, wagon rides, farm animals, straw play area, cowboy corral, gnome walk, pedal carts and more. While you are out visiting the farm, make sure to pick up your pumpkin. Fall season hours are Saturday, Sunday and Holiday Mondays through till the end of October 10-6.
