The ever-changing, award winning, Millet and District Museum, Archives and Visitor Information Centre (VIC) is located on the west side of Highway 2A at the north end of the Town of Millet, which is about 40 minutes south of Alberta’s capital, Edmonton. Open all year round in “The Prettiest Town in Alberta”, the official and accredited Travel Alberta community VIC has well-trained travel consultants to assist with travels within the community and the province of Alberta. We have a small gift shop with locally made crafts as well as over 914 sq m (3,000 sq ft) of museum displays.
Enjoy sweeping views of the Edmonton River Valley aboard a beautifully restored vintage streetcar. On this scenic tour that crosses over the High Level Bridge, above the North Saskatchewan River, you'll learn all about the city's streetcar history from Edmonton Radial Railway Society's costumed guides. Tours run daily, from mid-May through mid-October.
