Our vision - to be a leader in a dynamic community that celebrates the arts. Our mission - to make Red Deer a better community by stimulating, developing, and promoting the arts through education, advocacy, and programming. We operate the Kiwanis Gallery at Red Deer Public Library (4818 49 Street, Red Deer). Rotating eclectic exhibits features artists working in all media and subject matter, from landscapes to abstracts to 3D. Gallery openings are on the first Friday every month. We also offer on alternate First Friday Red Deer, when the visual artist has had an exhibit opening, either a performance (dance, comics, music) or a literary reading featuring our wonderful, talented local folk.
