The Red Deer Museum and Art Gallery (MAG) showcases the remarkable stories of local people, and brings in stories of a far reach that relate to Red Deerians. Using exhibits, storytellers, artefacts, and activities as our tools, we immerse explorers of all ages in the stories of success and more!
We are a log house with a sod roof, housing a Norwegian museum, cultural centre and tourist attraction in downtown Red Deer Heritage Square. We offer courses in Norwegian arts crafts and cooking. We have a small butikk (gift shop). Open to the public year-round Wednesdays 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Open Tuesday to Saturday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm from June 1st to August 31st.
