Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park is located 62 miles southeast of Lethbridge. Áísínai´pi, meaning, “it is pictured/written”, is a place that protects the largest collection of rock art on the North American plains. The park also has historical connections to the North West Mounted Police and the early settlers. At the visitor centre, exhibits tell the stories of Writing-on-Stone. Experience the mystical Milk River Valley in a campsite among the cottonwoods. Stay in a comfort campsite, book a guided tour or take part in the programmes that offer a glimpse into the park’s history and culture.
