Red Deer Cultural Heritage Society is responsible for the restoration and operation of the Cronquist House . Come and enjoy the unique ambiance of this beautifully restored 1912 Heritage Home in it's picturesque setting overlooking Bower Ponds in Waskasoo Park. The Cronquist House Tea House operates from May to September, offering light lunches and afternoon tea, from 11 am to 4 pm weekdays. The Red Deer Cultural Heritage Society has played a very significant role in the preservation and promotion of diverse cultural and ethnic traditions and in the preservation of two historic buildings in the community of Red Deer. It has contributed to a sense of community and pride in our city of Red Deer.
