Set alongside the glacier fed Bow River in the front ranges of the Canadian Rockies, Bow Valley Provincial Park offers stunning panoramic mountain and river views. The park’s many campsites offer a variety of facilities that range from basic and electricity and water serviced sites, to remote countryside camping at Jewel Bay on Barrier Lake. The Bow Valley and Lac Des Arcs campsites allow for online reservations. Walk on the park’s trails, or explore them by mountain bike or horseback. Choose from day walks that range from easy to challenging, as well as longer trails, for biking and overnight adventures.
