By the end of day one of Rocky Mountaineer’s Journey through the Clouds, my memory card is overloaded and my camera battery exhausted. Day two, when the scenery goes from stunning to spectacular, I have to do an emergency charge mid-afternoon. There are snow-capped, unspoiled mountain views on all sides, and I am desperate to lock down the memories.
