Vulcan Golf and Country Club

Established in 1923, the Vulcan Golf and Country Club stands as a cherished part of the community’s sporting heritage. This semi-private, 18-hole championship golf course moved to its current location in 1956, where it continues to attract golfers of all levels. In 2007, renowned golf course designer Les Furber expanded and designed the back nine, adding a distinctive touch to the layout. The course features two uniquely contrasting nines — the front nine showcases a mature, tree-lined design, while the back nine presents a modern links-style experience with large, undulating greens guarded by sand and water hazards. Players can enjoy the challenge of two entirely different styles of play within a single round. Beyond the fairways, the Vulcan Golf and Country Club offers exceptional amenities for both members and visitors. The pro shop features a wide selection of top-quality golf equipment and apparel, while professional staff are available to provide club fittings and personalized lessons. After a day on the course, guests can unwind in the fully licensed clubhouse, complete with an inviting outdoor patio. The clubhouse menu highlights fresh, in-house creations inspired by the season — perfect for sharing a meal with family and friends while taking in the scenic views of the course.
