D-Day Anniversary - The Hangar Flight Museum

On June 6, 2025 The Hangar Flight Museum is remembering D-Day and the significant role the Avro Lancaster played with Lancasters participating in bombing missions the night before the invasion. This event will feature both exterior and interior tours of their Lancaster bomber, and they will also play a film in the Lancaster Room from 12:00pm-3:00pm. The Avro Museum will be joining in to provide more historical context around Avro. Closed-toe shoes must be worn to enter the Avro Lancaster. Bump hats and cut-proof gloves will also be provided for this experience. Tickets are available at the door, and the additional event elements are included with general admission pricing.
