Come celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday with live entertainment and a barbecue dinner at the Brewster Dance Barn in upper Lake Louise. Built in honor of Brewster cowboys for over 100 years, the Dance Barn provides authentic Western atmosphere and entertainment. The Brewster “Hip of Beef,” the family specialty, is Alberta Beef rolled and aged especially for our barbecues. Prepared in large barbecue ovens and basted in natural juices, the roasts are custom carved for each guest in our buffet serving lines. A highlight is seeing the meat transported by ‘pitch fork’ to the buffet tables. Two options are available. A two-hour Destination trail ride to the end of Lake Louise and back, or a short horse-drawn wagon ride to the Dance Barn. Dinner menu includes “hip of beef”, baked potatoes with butter, sour cream, chives and bacon bits, baked beans served in cast iron pots, tossed salad, crusty rolls and home baked strawberry rhubarb pie. All the ‘fixings’, including tea and coffee. A cash bar service is provided for beer, hi balls, wine, pop, juice and water. Country and Rock Band will fill the evening with line dancing and lots of fun for all ages.
