Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park sits on a rise about 600 meters (1,970 ft) above the vast Great Plains between Saskatchewan and Alberta. With its mix of forests, wetlands, and grasslands, home to an astonishing diversity of plants and animals: over 220 bird species, 47 mammal species, and several species of reptiles and amphibians.Three visitor centers provide information about the park. Campgrounds are open year round or you can relax in one of our resort lodges. Enjoy a quiet stroll along a lake, go fishing or wildlife viewing. Over 50 km of trails for you to explore on foot, mountain bicycle or cross-country skis.
