Hunting Winter Outdoor Activities

Every autumn, hunters flock to western Canada for the chance at bagging big game, waterfowl and upland game birds. In Alberta, there are nine species of big game available to visiting hunters and many world record trophy animals have been taken here. A wide variety of terrain from grassy prairies to boreal forest and rugged mountains means there’s something to challenge every kind of hunter and trapper. Hire a licensed professional outfitter and set your sights on cougar, elk, moose, whitetail and mule deer, pronghorn antelope, black bear and bighorn sheep. And there’s nothing quite so tasty as pheasant, partridge, grouse and wild duck!
