Fishing Summer Outdoor Activities

Let’s be clear. The fish are magnificent. But those long stretches between the action of reeling one in? The perfect excuse for soaking up Alberta’s natural beauty. A day of fishing on a secluded lake surrounded by forest or mountains, or in a glacier-fed big-city river is a day well-spent. • Go far: Fly north to where the trout and pike swim in the shadows of boreal forests. Panfry your catch of the day on the shore for the best dinner ever. Then go fish some more because the daylight lasts forever in summer.

Full disclosure, I am one of the dummies. However we always get questions about fishing at Peace River Cabins and Outdoors so here is a collection of half-truths, gained from impolite grilling of successful fishermen, anecdotes and general references.
