Canoeing & Kayaking Summer Outdoor Activities

The rowing machine at the gym? It’s nothing like that. Swap the euro-dance hits with soft and rippling waves in the wake of a beaver. That’s more like it. Canoeing was commuting before Canada was a thing. And if you want something more high-energy, kayaking and rafting is like a real-life log ride down the river. • Do this: There are travellers, and then there are voyageurs. Book a half-day canoe trip on Jasper’s Pyramid Lake. Epic views, no experience needed. • Whitewater: Getting drenched to the skin doesn't get any more exciting. Navigate the cool waters of a mountain river with an experienced guide.

Full disclosure, I am one of the dummies. However we always get questions about fishing at Peace River Cabins and Outdoors so here is a collection of half-truths, gained from impolite grilling of successful fishermen, anecdotes and general references.
