Lethbridge Southern Alberta

Lethbridge still has the spirit of its wild whiskey-trading-post days. The super-sunny city has a massive urban parks system thanks to a ravine created by the local river. Warm Chinook winds keep winter temperatures on the mild side. ● Whoop-hoo: Get a blast from Lethbridge’s past at the annual Whoop Up Days festival, featuring a midway, exhibition and daily concerts every August. ● High Level Bridge: The longest and tallest railway bridge of its type in the world spans the Old Man River. When you see it for yourself, imagine how they could possibly have built it in 1909. Back then, it was one of the wonders of the world. Now, it makes for great sunset selfies.
