Located 30 minutes north of High Prairie, this park includes Winagami Lake, the south and west shore lands, and several small islands. With mixed forests and wetlands, and a lake used by migrating waterfowl, the park attracts plenty of birds (more than 150 species have been recorded). You can see colonies of western grebes and Franklin’s gulls nesting on the lake. The park is a destination for all kinds of outdoor pursuits, including boating, fishing, and sailing in summer, and skating, ice fishing, and cross-country skiing in winter. A campground at the park offers both serviced and unserviced sites suitable for tents and RVs alike.
