Overview

Walking through the doors of the Redwater and District Museum gives the visitor a glimpse into the history of the surrounding area. Various displays depict the life styles of settlers during the turn of the century, as well as the story of the discovery and the development of the oil industry in the region. Artifacts illustrate the contribution of the Japanese, Ukranian, and First Nation cultures. A photo collection records the rich history of families and activities within the community. A military display also depicts the contribution of locals in the services and their contribution to our country.
