Located along the creek that gives this town its name, the Kootenai Brown Pioneer Village is open year-round. Hours vary from summer to winter months. You'll find a Visitor Information Centre, gift shop with a country theme carrying local and Canadian products, a museum sitting on 2.4 hectares with 24 historical buildings, beautiful gardens and a pond that is the home to many animals and plants. Take a journey back in time with the CPR caboose, a wondrous garage right out of the 1940's, and Waldron Ranch House where all the ranch hands would have once been housed.
