Overview

Dinosaur Campground is in Dinosaur Provincial Park, 48 km northeast of Brooks off Hwy. 876. There are over 120 RV and tent-friendly sites, including unserviced, powered and three pull-through options. The campground is nestled in a valley by the Red Deer River and shaded by cottonwood trees. Many sites back onto Little Sandhill Creek. Explore the beautiful, unique landscape on foot, take a guided tour, or enjoy a show at the amphitheatre (July and August only). Fossils in Alberta are protected; please leave in place for scientific integrity. Camping in the badlands is an unforgettable experience. Make sure to book ahead at this busy campground. The campground is open year-round and is in self-registration (first-come first-serve) mid-October to mid-May.
