Cold Garden Brewing
Cold Garden Beverage Company is a micro-brewery located in the vibrant Calgary community of Inglewood. The original brewing district of Calgary, Inglewood reflected the eclectic, creative drive behind the company. Partners Blake, Dan and Kris signed the lease for The Garden, their physical brewery, in August 2015. The next two years were spent building out the brewery and tasting room. Cold Garden takes pride in their local community approach to brewing. Most of their beers start with high quality Alberta 2-row barley. The All-Nighter Vanilla Cappuccino Porter uses a dark roast coffee from Rebel Bean Roasters in Okotoks, and the One Summer In Saskatoon Saison is infused with real berries from the Saskatoon Farm south of Calgary. The brewery’s spent grains go to The Nash restaurant who uses them to bake bread, and to Bite who in turn makes pretzels for the brewery’s tasting room. Their eccentric and innovative vibe continues into their tasting room, launched in January of 2017. Visitors can sample Cold Garden’s craft beers while soaking up the casual and eclectic ambiance of the place.
