Now I wasn't quite sure what that meant but I like a challenge, so I rugged up and headed out into the chilly evening to dine at Tekarra Restaurant, nestled in the scenic Jasper valley in Alberta, Canada. Before I regale you with my eating tale, a little background.

I was in the midst of a seven-day food and wine tour of the Alberta region. I left Australia a trim, somewhat taut and relatively terrific 75.2 kg. Halfway through the week, the jeans were tighter, the chin was doubling. Looking in the mirror at my chubby self, I could not help but be impressed.
