Welcome to "Tres Hombres"
Steep, Deep and Wide Open; this is an advanced skier and snowboarder heaven!

The area known as “Tres Hombres” opened to skiers and snowboarders for the 2017-18 season on December 1st, 2017. Tres Hombres is a large, north-facing and treeless slope, some 18 hectares (45 acres) in size within Marmot Basin’s leasehold which provides incredible advanced and expert off-piste skiing and snowboarding terrain.

There’s a lot to be excited about with the opening of Marmot Basin’s newest terrain! Tres Hombres has long been coveted by locals and visitors alike. With powder-filled bowls and chutes that descend 367 vertical metres (1,204 ft.), this will be Marmot Basin’s longest, uninterrupted fall-line.

Not for the faint-hearted, Tres Hombres will have you dropping into some of the steepest terrain at Marmot Basin and in the Canadian Rockies! With 5 runs and 45 acres of wide open, off-piste terrain to explore; you’ll have a snow-eating grin during each long lap.

With a run length of almost 700 metres, Tres Hombres is equivalent to 3 times the length of Charlies Bowl, that’s a lot of turns for you and your best ‘hombres’.
