Ice Fishing

Can’t wait for the ice to melt to get back to the lakes for more fishing action? Don’t put away your tackle box just yet. The prolific Bow River and streams in the south have open stretches of water even in winter. Ice fishing allows you a close-up view of fish circling the bait, then hitting your lure. Hungry walleye, northern pike, perch and other species are just waiting for you to drop them a line.
